Venu Rao graduated from Villanova University and worked for his 31 years of his professional life for US Defense Industries: Harris Corp., Lockheed Martin Corp., and BAE SYSTEMS.  Retired in 2006 to raise his daughter.  In 2010 Joined Rotary Club of Hollis Brookline, New Hampshire, US.

Venu served Rotary Organization in various capacities and personally contributed and engaged in over twenty International Rotary Global Grant projects around the world.  Venu is Paul Harris Society Member and had been inducted into Rotary Arch Klumph Society.

Venu is married and lives in Hollis, New Hampshire with his wife, Gautami Ro, who is a physician specialized in Oncology/Hematology at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Venu has a daughter, Anupama Rao, has Doctorate degree in Child Clinical Psychology, married and lives in Virginia.
